Shipping Policy

Our shipping process is designed to be cost-effective, with all orders shipped by Royal Mail or EVRI, the choice is yours at checkout.

We usually dispatch orders on the same or next working day, depending on the time of your purchase. However, please allow 1-5 working days for processing, as each item is handmade from start to finish and during busy spells we can be selling as much as 700 candles per day so it does take some time to make by hand. The shipping option you select at checkout refers to the courier's delivery time and does not include our processing time to create and prepare your order.

If your order is urgent, please select Royal Mail Tracked 24 or 48 and message us on Facebook to let us know and we will prioritize your order to be dispatched ASAP.

The shipping rates are:
EVRI 2-5 Working Days £2.99
- Royal Mail Tracked 48 at £3.95
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 at £4.95
- Free Standard Shipping on orders over £50 

 

Working days are Mon-Fri and weekends and bank holidays are not counted as a working day for couriers or ourselves.

Please Note : The timescale for the shipping service you choose is after our processing times listed above, so if you choose Tracked 24 for example, we will aim to dispatch it within 1-5 working days and it would then be the 24 hours for Royal Mail once they have it from us, not from when the order is placed.

If your order is urgent, we recommend messaging us on Facebook for the fastest response to ask if we are able to meet your requirement for delivery timescales before placing your order.

Important Information About Shipping and Tracking:

Once your parcel has been dispatched, we are unable to directly intervene with the courier. We can only view the same tracking updates that you see. Please note:

  • We cannot contact the courier to expedite, investigate, or resolve delays.
  • All parcels are shipped through our website provider, Shopify. We generate shipping labels through their system and do not have direct accounts or contacts with couriers.
  • If there is an issue with your parcel (e.g., it is delayed, lost, or damaged), you will need to contact the courier directly using the tracking details provided.

How to Contact EVRI:

  1. Visit your tracking page.
  2. Scroll down and click “Get Help.”
  3. Follow the prompts to start a live chat with their team.

If EVRI confirms your parcel is lost or damaged, they will provide you with a statement or certificate. Once you share this with us, we can process a replacement or refund and claim through Shopify on your behalf.

We genuinely wish we could assist further, but we do not have direct access to courier systems or support. Thank you for your understanding!

Important Information Regarding Shipping Addresses:

Kindly take note of the following: In the event that an inaccurate or incomplete address is provided when placing your order and subsequently results in the courier's inability to effect delivery, the courier will retain the parcel for a maximum of 18 days. After this period, the parcel will be returned to us. In such cases, a refund will be issued to you, which covers the product costs but excludes the initial shipping fees and any return fees from the courier we incurred.

Evri Shipping Notice

Please be aware that Evri tracked shipping is only available for mainland postcodes. If you select Evri and your postcode is in any of the below regions, your order will be shipped via Royal Mail 2nd Class without tracking. This is due to Evri's higher costs for these regions. As a result, we won’t be able to assist with any delivery issues, loss or delays for those shipments as you have not paid for the correct tracked shipping.

To ensure your order is shipped correctly, please choose the appropriate shipping option for your postcode: either Royal Mail Tracked 48 or Tracked 24 if you are in the below postcodes.

Please be aware that during peak times such as bank holidays or strikes, delays may occur with Royal Mail due to factors beyond our control. We have been advised to account for potential delays during these times ranging from 3-10 working days with Royal Mail and sometimes longer.
